Function
1. Provide large current when starting.
2. When the generator output voltage is lower than the battery voltage, it supplies power to the electrical equipment.
3. When the generator output voltage is higher than the battery voltage, it absorbs the overvoltage and protects the electronic components.

2. When the engine is running at low speed, it supplies power to the power equipment and the generator field winding. (avoid in application)
3. When the engine is running, convert the remaining electrical energy of the generator into chemical energy for storage;
4. When the generator is overloaded, assist the generator to supply power to the electrical equipment.
5. The battery is equivalent to a large capacitor, which can absorb the transient over-voltage generated in the circuit, protect the electronic components, and keep the voltage of the automotive electrical system stable.
